Starting pay: $20 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service:

    • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and approachable manner.

    • Provide recommendations based on customer needs and preferences.

    • Pack online orders for customer shipping in a timely manner.

  • Sales and Upselling:

    • Actively engage with customers to encourage purchases.

    • Answer customer questions regarding products, services, and store policies.

    • Meet or exceed sales targets set by management.

    • Upsell or cross-sell additional products based on customer needs.

  • Product Knowledge:

    • Stay informed about current product offerings, promotions, and sales events.

    • Assist customers in finding specific products, explaining product features and benefits.

  • POS System Operation:

    • Accurately process customer transactions (sales, returns, exchanges) using the POS system.

    • Understand how to troubleshoot POS system if needed.

    • Process returns and exchanges according to store policies.

  • Inventory Management:

    • Assist with stock replenishment by receiving and unpacking new shipments.

    • Help maintain inventory organization and ensure shelves are stocked and neat.

  • Store Cleanliness and Organization:

    • Maintain a clean and tidy store environment, including sales floor and backroom areas.

    • Clean and sanitize workspaces, counters, and customer-facing areas as required.

  • Team Collaboration:

    • Work effectively with fellow team members and management to meet store goals.

    • Support coworkers during busy periods and assist with tasks when needed.

    • Create engaging social media content to promote products and enhance the brand's online presence.

    • Help with any other responsibilities necessary to support store operations.

Requirements:

  • Education:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • If still in high school, must show proof of work permit.

    • Esthetician or cosmetology school experience is a plus but not required.

  • Experience:

    • 0-2 years customer service experience (can include volunteer experience).

    • Ability to speak a second language, aside from English, is a plus but not a requirement.

  • Positive Attitude:

    • Must have a basic knowledge of skincare products & ingredients, skin types, and types of skin concerns. (Will train the right candidate to deepen skincare knowledge).

    • Enthusiasm for the company and its products, with a desire to represent the brand in the best light.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Basic computer skills (POS system operation, handling customer transactions, and managing returns).

    • Intermediate knowledge of social media platforms.

    • Ability to learn new software or store technology quickly.

  • Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to stand for extended periods and walk throughout the store during shifts.

    • Lifting and carrying merchandise (may involve up to 25–50 lbs depending on inventory).

    • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach for items on high or low shelves.
